Heeeeeeeeeey friends! I know I always say this but time is FLYING! Just when I feel like I've finished something on my to-do list, I have about 50 more items to cross off. Despite it being exhausting, I'm kinda loving this busy, hustle and bustle lifestyle I've taken on since starting my blog, working full time, and moving into our own house. Lots to do and so little time but I'm managing. Thought it would be fun to share some life updates and what's up currently in terms of things I'm reading, listening to, watching, loving, ETC.

READING: Ruben and I finally got library cards a few months ago since we live a short walk from our local library and I've been enjoying it so much. I try and read at least one book a month (time permitting). Currently I'm reading 'I was told there'd be cake' by Sloane Crosley and OMG it's funny! I'm also reading 'The Curated Closet' which has already made me feel lighter, and more inspired than ever to purge my closet. I'm always looking for new things to read so if you have any recommendations please leave me a comment or shoot me a message!

WATCHING: Anyone else addicted to Riverdale?! It's soooooo good. Unlike other shows on Netflix, you have to wait each week for a new episode to premiere on Fridays (so it makes binge watching hard/impossible) But this past week's episode was crazy good, I can't wait for next. Also - GIRLS! My favourite show and this season has been so great, I really don't want it to end. I'm kind of really dreading the last episode.

LISTENING TO: So many good albums just got released this past week, which means my Spotify has been off the chains in terms of checking out all the good, new stuff to hit the airwaves. Among those I'm listening to are Father John Misty's new album 'Pure Comedy ', and Future Island's new album 'The Far Field'. Both artists are playing sold out shows in Toronto next month and I'm so desperate for Future Islands tickets, so if anyone's got the hook-ups ;) let me know hehe.

FEELING: EXCITED! The Toronto Maple Leafs just made the Stanley Cup playoffs which is a huuuuge deal to our city. I was at the game Saturday night when they clinched the spot and the whole place was buzzing, the feeling hasn't quite left me yet and I can't wait to see them play the Capitals in the playoffs (one of the best teams) BUT you gotta beat the best to be the best and I'm totally hopeful and have faith in our team. GO LEAFS GO!!!

WORKING ON: Our house! The projects don't stop. We moved in almost six months ago now and I feel like we haven't done anything (but really, we've done a lot!) and there's only so much we can do too, considering we're renting. We're currently working on a reading nook for our bedroom, and getting our office setup. Ruben got me a sewing machine for Christmas and it's still in the box (oops!) so my goal is to get that set up in the office and in motion within the next week.

So that's all my excitement for now and what's been going on in this life of mine. With the weather getting warmer, I'm ecstatic to get busy with more projects in and around the house, as well as the blog. Stay tuned!

Spring has SPRUNG!

Hey friends - Happy Wednesday! Spring has certainly sprung around these parts and we're seeing it with the crazy amount of rain we've been getting and flowers starting to bloom. Temperatures are warming up, which means we've been spending a lot more time out and about! This past weekend was beautiful in terms of weather, so we hit up the city to walk around, have lunch and enjoy the fact that I could get away with wearing just a sweater and some flats! I hadn't even planned to do an outfit post, but when I stumbled upon this yellow wall that matches my shoes, it was kind of a given.

With the weather warming up and the days are feeling longer (thank sunlight!), I hope I can utilize this time to plan and create more content and posts! I kind of went through a dry period I guess you could say, where I was feeling lazy/uninspired and the cold, long, dark winter did NOT help! I can't promise anything, but I will do my best to create lots of fun posts for the coming months and I hope you come back to check it out!

Outfit Details: Glasses (Bailey Nelson) / Sweater (H&M) / Pants (Old Navy) / Purse (Kate Spade) / Shoes (from a shop in Positano, Italy)
